Course Overview

A total of 141 courses will be offered by 35 colleges at Sichuan University. These courses cover various disciplines, with 47 courses in humanities and social sciences, 13 courses in natural sciences, 50 courses in engineering, and 31 courses in medical sciences.

Faculty Overview

For UIP 2024, we have invited 136 experts and scholars from 32 countries and regions to deliver both online and offline courses in English. Among them, 44% of the instructors are from world-renowned universities such as the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford, Imperial College London, Stanford University, the University of Pennsylvania, and Nanyang Technological University, all of which are

ranked within the top 200 in the QS World University Rankings.

New Features and Highlights in UIP 2024

1.Collaborating with Nature Publishing Group, UIP 2024 have established the“Nature Scientific Research Lecture Series”to enhance the research and academic abilities of master’s and doctoral students.

2.UIP 2024 have implemented an interdisciplinary international innovation talent joint training program, which invites professors from the University of Cambridge and the University of Pennsylvania to teach high-level exemplary general education courses.

3.More than 20 distinguished lectures will be conducted, featuring renowned speakers such as Erwin Neher, Nobel Laureates in Physiology or Medicine for 1991.

International Exchange Camps

Six student exchange camps (including international competitions, academic forums and cultural exchanging activities) will be organized by various colleges, including West China School of Stomatology, West China School of Medicine, College of Electrical Engineering, School of Economics, West China School of Pharmacy, West China School of Public Health and School of International Studies. It is estimated that over 100 international students from 26 countries and regions will participate in these exchange camps.
