UIP classes were in full swing by Monday, July 9th, as SCU students at the Wu Yaozang Honors College sampled a variety of new teaching styles and methods in their international immersion courses. The college invited professors from the University of Durham, the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, and Idaho State University to give courses in economics, leadership development, environmental economics, and visual culture.

Courses at this year’s UIP were once again well received by students, who joined in-depth discussions with professors from around the world and benefitted from an interactive, cross-cultural learning experience that proved academically challenging and was geared toward building students’ global competencies and cross-cultural awareness.
