2019 University Immersion Program Announcement June 30 -- July 13

ABOUT UIP

The two-week University Immersion Program (UIP) organized by Sichuan University is designed to convene faculties from all over the world to give short courses and lectures to both domestic and international students at both undergraduate and graduate levels. UIP was initiated in 2012 and now a regular long-term program. This program aims to bring together students worldwide so as to give all participants an opportunity to associate and make friends with each other, and stimulate their global awareness and inter-cultural communications.

TEACHER’S OPPORTUNITY

Sichuan University invites academics worldwide to submit Bachelor-level course proposals covering international knowledge, enlightening, inspiring and critical thinking that focus in interdisciplinary.

LECTURING

Lecture should be taught in English. The invited faculty shall give at least one course (one credit, 16 academic hours).

PAYMENT

UIP will cover the travel and lodging costs and offer an honorarium of RMB 15,500 pre-tax one course. In addition, some attractive social activities and local field trips will be available and covered by Sichuan University.

HOW TO APPLY

Please fill the application form and email it to us before March 5, 2019, together with a scanned copy of your passport. Please find contact info below. Sichuan University will review all the applications and respond with an official letter before middle of April, 2019.
