After review and evaluation, the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NNSFC) has announced the partial list of recipients of NNSFC financial support for the year 2021. 583 projects of Sichuan University have been sponsored by NNSFC funding, including eight projects of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars(NSFDYS).

The total numbers of NNSFC projects and NSFDYS projects have reached a record high. According to the situations of previous years, the number of SCU’s NNSFC projects may exceed 600 by the end of this year.
