Vice-president Shijing Yan of SCU, invited by the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs, paid a visit Israel with a 7-member delegation from June 19th to 23rd. The purpose of this trip is to learn and study the advanced ideas and achievements of Israel universities and scientific research institutions in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship. The two parties discussed the establishment of partnership in talents development and scientific research between SCU and top universities in Israel.

During the five days, the delegation visited five universities: Tel Aviv University, Bar-Ilan University, the IDC Herzliya, the University of Haifa, and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and one top scientific research institution of Israel: the Weizmann Institute of Science and its affiliated company-- Yeda Research & Development Company Limited..

People from the Academic Affairs Office, the Office of Scientific Research and Development, the Office of Social Sciences, the Student Affairs Department and the International Affairs Office of SCU accompanied Prof.Yan Shijingduring this visit.
