November 9th, Wang Jianguo, Chairman of the University Council of SCU, met with Zhang Zhongjun, Chairman of G-MEO Education Group. Vice-president Yan Shijing and relevant personnel attended the meeting.
Chairman Wang extended warm welcome to Chairman Zhang and his delegation. He spoke highly of the Chengdu American Center for Study Abroad co-founded by Sichuan University, Chengdu Municipal People's Government and G-MEO. He indicated that, the Center, as a model for institution-locality cooperation, not only delivers a new idea that overseas students are welcome to study in China, but also opens a window for overseas students to learn about China and Sichuan.
Chairman Zhang extended his sincere gratitude to Sichuan University for their strong support given to Chengdu American Center for Study Abroad and also expressed his wish to step up cooperation with Sichuan University.
