On March 9, 2016, Prof. Wang Zhu with theSchoolofLaw, SCU, held an academic forum under the title of “Recent Developments in Chinese Tort Law” in theCorpus ChristiCollegeof theOxfordUniversity, with the invitation of the Obligation Discussion Group and the Comparative Law Discussion Group.
Prof. Wang Zhu analyzed the Chinese characteristics in the Tort Liability Law of the People's Republic of China and trot law case statistics of the judgment documents published on the “China Judgments Online”, and especially introduced the rules on liabilities for the damage caused by unknown throwers and falling objects, as well as supplementary liabilities of violating security obligations. Prof. Wang Zhu also answered questions raised by teachers, students and visiting scholars from the Faculty of Law,OxfordUniversity.
