SCU-University of Oxford Senior Professor Speaker Program, launched in 2015, is an important part of the cooperation between SCU and the University of Oxford. Four senior professors attended the program in 2015. During their stay in SCU, two academic lectures and two seminars will be held, including a general lecture for a broad coverage of audiences, a professional lecture and two research seminars. Relevant academic exchange activities will also be conducted to explore the possibility of further cooperation.

As one of the activities for the 120 Anniversary of Sichuan University, the 2016 Oxford Distinguished Speaker Program will be attended by 10 professors from the University of Oxford, and 5 of them have already been here.

The professors' lectures aroused wide concern of the students and teachers at SCU. We’ve benefited a lot and broadened our vision from this precious learning & exchange opportunity, most of them said.
